We Shal Return.....Hero-way is back?
When I speak of hero-way, I do not mean as in just any hero such as gwen or norgu or some kinda monk, I mean the taint hero and curse or just a taint with rao frontline. My question is....Will it return?
I have been running a few random builds befor my guild forms in ha and I have found that it should make a comeback. Compleatly different hero-way, yet the same result,fast matchs. I have been doing a few ventless pugging for this and we have beaten many teams around our rank(r8/9+). I was just running it for fun but it seams to work.
What do you think? Will heroway come back???

Do you mean Sway? I've seen a few more lately than I had in the past, but those builds are going to have a terrible hard time against the 4 caster backlines. Furthermore a lot of their damage comes from barbs which is easily removed by a halfway competent P&H. If barbs and rigor get P&H'd the single target pressure goes to crap. The current meta backlines have enough party healing through the P&H and multiple pots to heal through lingering curse, so taint isn't even that much pressure itself.
I'm not saying it won't ever work, but this really isn't the best meta for it.

ive played vs many pnh monks,barbs has a very quick recharge and with some1 who is half decent controling the hex hero, swich targets! I didn't run the R/W hammer rao, i changed it up to this old thing that a few of my buddies use to run in gvg to quickly gain rank,alot of fun

P&H also has a very quick recharge.
I realize winning in tombs is about your opponent being more incompetent than you are being, but if their team can't say "Barbs on 4" then they really are bad. Back in the day decent teams could stand the pressure with just guardians and SoA. Now there is P&H to strip clean priority targets, still SoA, three guardians, at least one warding and one shadow, fall back is up at least half the time such that soft targets can out kite thumpers, make haste outside of the fallback, and the grand old Aura of stability. That old build looks really terrible compared to all of this.
Honestly I'd say that most of your success can be attributed to people forgetting how to play against it. If it starts making a comeback, give it a couple weeks and teams will properly adjust.

It might work since teaseway was indirectly nerfed but heroway is so easy to shut down...thrown down a couple wards, use fall back!, deny the use of tox / energizing wind and don't let OoA go up. Doing any one of those knocks the wind out of heroway since it is just a shit storm of pressure that collapses after one minute if they don't score kills.
Sway on the other hand I could see making a comeback with E/Rt prism healers, at least until people remember how to wand trappers. I saw that the other night and it is still incredibly annoying to play against. You have to remember that there's only about 2-3 cookie cutter builds that pugs can run and there's always better builds for guilds to run though.

I don't run that old hero-way build, i changed it to something more of the now,no n/rt healers, then again i dont have any rao hammers,but i do have a rao,just different skills
I'll post my version of it if any1 wants,just ask. I am running it now, seeing if i need to mod anythig on it

The old heroway's primary killing power was daze / ooa spam. Now daze is useless because we got pnh and LS, ooa is easy food for those retarded imbalanced tease heroes. So until these are here, no, it wont come back.
If you take different builds then you make a totally new build which has no connection to the old hway (and rao is bad without a hammer)

I ran my build again last night,1 run we got around 20 fame, beat a r11+ balance on cap points with heros and no vent. Beat r-spike w/ a 3 monk backline and a pnh,3 mins. You do not need ooa or hammers for hero-way, but if you do not think my build is hero-way,call it six-way.
